This is a five-years (2022-2027) collaborative research project between researchers from the University of California – Los Angeles, Ohio State University and Centro de Pesquisa em População e Saúde. It seeks to understand the relationships of midlife women with adult/late adolescent children, other relatives and non-relatives, and the implications of these relationships for women’s psychosocial wellbeing. Funded by the National Institute of Aging of the USA, this research project uses multiple modes of data collection (surveys, focus group discussions and in-depth individual interviews).
