A Public Health Specialist, Strategic Information Expert and Senior Consultant. Baltazar Chilundo has over 22 years of experience in the practice, research, and education of public health domains (strategic information, M&E, health systems, community health, primary health care and health policy) in low human development index countries. Apart from teaching and conducting research at the Eduardo Mondlane University, he is currently the National M&E Director of the major Pathfinder-Mozambique Project funded by USAID (Improved Family Planning Initiative). De 2006 a 2020, he has also played the role of national director of strategic information (research, M&E) for VillageReach in Mozambique, ICAP at Columbia University in Mozambique, Malaria Consortium Mozambique, Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication Programs in Mozambique, and Pathfinder International in Mozambique. He is a member of CEPSA (Health and Population Research Center) and Affiliate professor at the University of Washington, Department of Global Health.
